Hit Your Goals With Feng Shui

Are you ready to face 2018? Do you have the right tools to hit your goals this new and exciting year?

The year of the Earth Dog is coming. There will be plenty of opportunities in front of us but with the lack of right tools, hitting our goals will be slow or hard.

Feng shui is a good and important tool in getting the things that we want. The environment that we're living has a direct impact on us. In order to succeed, we must make sure that our environment reflects that desire.

This year, start hitting your goals the feng shui way. Follow these simple techniques that will help you get the things that you want.

1. Make a list of your goals and be creative. Set a target date and put it in a place where you can see it regularly. Add some nice photos that will inspire you. Just like what they say, "pictures are worth a thousand words."

2. Create an organized space whether in your home or office. Clutter distracts you keep your focus away from your dreams. If it doesn't serve a purpose, get rid of it.

3.  Use the power of words. Words such as abundance and wealth can be put in strategic locations if you want prosperity in your life. The words like marriage, love and forever are powerful words for a harmonious relationship.

4. Use symbols for your goals. If you want to be a famous engineer, start collecting miniature heavy equipment's or pen if you want to be a writer. You can also put photos of successful people in that field. Put all of these in a place that you can see it often.

Always remember that opportunity comes in different ways like time, your environment, and your action. You can't change what happened but the world has given you tools on how to get your dreams.

Feng shui is not perfect but it's the best thing that you should have if you want to live a better life. To learn more about feng shui, visit my website at www.wealthyspaces.com.

Feng Shui & Electro Magnetic Matter

Feng Shui is about environments that have invisible and visible messages to us all the time.  The connection with this philosophy and what is discussed above is no different.  We have wifi waves passing through us affecting us and then we wonder why we feel fatigued, tired, confused and less and less able to focus and concentrate.

A couple of decades later and guess what?  WE have even more bombardment on our subtle energies and now as if it was suddenly something new the Californian Researchers have discovered this:

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-5184029/Stop-sleeping-cell-phone-California-warns.html

Returning to what Feng Shui is all about - that is what is around us is within us.  Then we wonder why millions across the world have some of the following issues:

  1. insomnia leading to degenerative conditions
  2. conflict within the home
  3. fear of going outside
  4. no focus only confusion and chaos in the mind.
  5. Depression
  6. Lack of ability to be clear and focus on your own life

The list is endless and, unless you realise that what is around you is inside of you it is impossible to take the right kind of action and create an environment that not only has the right vibration in terms of colours, aromas, sounds and orientation but has been cleansed through the ancient art of space clearing and has been cleared of any potential devices that keep our inner cells constantly charged so they cannot revitalise themselves over night.  The following list is what you can take practical steps to change, observe the difference to the quality of your sleep and relations;

  • take out all phones and get yourself an old fashioned alarm clock
  • take out the computers, ipads, tv's and refrain from watching anything on the monitors before sleeping as you are taking the messages of what you have watched and they enter your subconscious
  • do not leave any devices under your pillow
  • don't forget to cleanse the bedroom regularly by using sage or frankincense and make sure there is plenty of fresh air allowed in.
  • if you feel disturbed in any manner during sleep be sure to place a bowl of salt inyour bedroom allowing it to pull anything in the moisture in the air into the salt - then throw out the salt after a week.
If you do the above for yourself and loved ones the value of it is tremendous.  Just switching off your wifi coder throughout the night could mean the difference between having a bizarre restless night's sleep and a revitalised and relaxed night's rest.

One action is all it takes.  TAKE IT NOW & to discover more about how Feng Shui can assist your health, wealth and much more.

Lucky Feng Shui Colors For 2018

Your Lucky Color According To Feng Shui

Are you thinking about the lucky colors according to feng shui for 2018?

The new year is coming. Another year is about to finish and another year is about to start. You did the space cleansing and organized your home.

It's the year of the dog with the element of the earth. It means that it is a balanced period when it comes to energy. It brings stability, reliability, warmth, nourishment, and protection.

Color is the strongest and easiest way of expressing in feng shui. This coming 2018, use colors to add more energy and luck to your life.

The lucky colors for 2018 belong to the colors of the Earth element. It is aligned and in harmony with this year's element. These colors are terracotta, sandy, beige and light yellow.

The second group of lucky colors belongs to the Fire element. The Fire element in feng shui feeds the Earth element in the productive cycle of the feng shui element. These colors include red, pink, orange and purple.

If there are lucky colors in feng shui, there are also colors that you should avoid or minimize in using.
These colors belong to the Water, Wood, and Metal elements. These elements are not in harmony with Earth. The colors that belong to these elements are blue, gray, brown, blue and white.

Using the lucky feng shui color is not a one-day event. You should use or wear it as often as possible most especially during important days or events in your life.

Feng Shui Your Hot Spot Hub Space

Some things never change but ONE thing that is - is the space we are all starting to work in.

People right across the world running their own small businesses no longer want to work at home isolated, no banter no presence of other people.  What has started to be created are common spaces for entrepreneurials of all age groups, diversities and backgrounds.

People are getting out of the prisons offered to them in the corporate and service world and creating their own living dynamic spaces with like minded people.

What do we call that?  WE call it Feng Shui Change!  The winds of change are always blowing some more stronger than others at times.  This shift into a hub workspace has the freedom to create a place where people really want to be with who they want to be with and work on what they choose to do.

Having recently visited some of these Hubs some are basic with a lick of corporate colour but it does not have to be like that.

Even Google has created a most fascinating workspace for their innovators:

So, why not you?

You now have the freedom to create one of these yourself and in London people are opening up their own spaces to offer that service.

Where to begin?

Well when people are working in technology it is predominantly the Metal Element at play.  That is why all these organisations have white, magnolia, grey walls - its an authoritarian tone.

However, when you are working from the mind - Metal - it is good to be reminded of all the elements as no one element reigns; you have to have earth to support the metal; you require water to support the wood.

Here are some tips to get you started on Creating a Feng Shui Hot Spot Hub Space.

  1. Have plants around that bring in the Wood Element; not cacti but leaves that are moving upwards.
  2. Use ceramic pots around the space-one should have nothing in them to create an energy of space inside to receive great things.
  3. Use colours of blue and green as water feeds the wood these could be in bottles, tapestries, art work.
  4. Ensure Art Work denotes a good feel factor- people communicating, cooperating, goals for business, luxury living, the connection with others through nature of people in pictures.
  5. Ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of the place-no clutter-flow is obvious and that each working space enables people to have their back to the wall.
  6. The power point of any room is diagonally opposite the main door in that room-use the space wisely.
  7. Ensure people have a clearly defined space for themselves but there is a communal place to share for talk, eats and debate.
  8. All windows to be cleaned, sufficient head space psychologically for people to elevate and very important is the aspect of aroma.
  9. It is a sensitive area Aroma but if you can make it subtle with usually aromas of fruits or brain busters like basil and rosemary it would be an advantage.
  10. Anything that smells which is distasteful will ruin the experience and because peoples emotions and memories are tied up with smell it is important to get this right.
  11.  Ensure lighting is generous but not glaring and is evenly spread in any given room.

Celebrate The New Year With Feng Shui

A Happy New Year With Feng Shui

Are you ready to celebrate the New Year?

Just like all the other important celebrations, the New Year is one of the most exciting time of the year. It brings in fun and excitement. The excitement of making new goals and hitting it. The possibility of a brighter future.

Feng shui is about energy and we all know that everything around us has energy. This means that life is abundant with energy that we can use them to make our lives better.

So, I want to ask you. How is your home? Is it filled with good energy? Is there a free flow of energy in your house?

The first thing that you should do to get ready for the New Year is to cleanse your space. Let the energy flow in your house. You can do this by doing some smudging. This will, in turn, clear your space of any negative energy and brightens your home.

Another thing that you should do is to decorate your place according to your intention. Goals and dreams come in when you and your space are ready for it.

The quality of energy in your home is affected by the things in your space. For a happier new year,
surround yourself with the things that will make you happy. If it makes you sad or uncomfortable, it is considered as bad feng shui.

This new year reminds us that another year has passed. The things that happened in the past cannot be undone and the future is something that we have to look forward to. The goals that we failed to hit is something that we can achieve in the coming year with the help of feng shui.

May all of us have a wonderful and a happy new year! Cheers to a healthy and wealthy life!

Feng Shui And Christmas

Celebrating Christmas The Feng Shui Way

Christmas is a good time to use feng shui in our home. As the holiday's getting nearer, the stress is getting stronger. Applying feng shui in our house is a great way to keep calm, feel joyful and have a good energy flow. It's a great way to experience more mindfulness as you prepare for the holiday.

Here are feng shui tips to keep the good energy in your home this Christmas.

1. Get rid of clutter by sharing. Most of us tend to buy the things that we don't need and we don't actually use. We accumulate a lot of unnecessary stuff's the whole year. Some people may actually need the things that gather dust in your home. Sharing is another way of clearing all the clutter.

2.  Prepare assorted fruits on the table. Fruits not only give you good health but also good fortune. Orange can bring money, apples bring in harmony among family members, mango can bring sweetness and grapes helps you attract the luxury items that you want.

3.  Use the power of light. A well-lighted foyer can be welcoming not only to your guests but also opportunities. Add light to your plants to bring out their beauty.

4. Take care of your home. Gifts can be given not only to humans but also to our home. Buy your home a special present like a beautiful painting. It will bring in good energy to your space.

5. Spend quality time with the people you love. A simple dinner or watching a movie together can mean so much to the people around you.

6. Be a Santa with a twist. Life has been so good to you. The act of giving is one way of showing you're grateful for the blessings that you have received. Attract abundance by giving gifts to the people you love. Wrap your gifts with colorful wrappers though. Red for your mom, gold for your dad, purple or silver for your kids, purple for your grandparents and red for your friends.

Always remember that bringing good energy to our home doesn't need to be expensive. With these simple tricks, you can have a fun and energy filled Christmas.

Good Feng Shui And Christmas

Feng Shui Tips For Christmas

Never thought that you can use good feng shui for your Christmas celebration? A celebration like this involves happiness and happiness is related to chi or good energy in feng shui.

Everybody loves the holidays. It's a festive season for a lot of reasons like kids smiling whenever they see houses full of decorations and spending time with the family and good friends.

To maximize the happiness and good energy in your home this Christmas season, decorate your house according to feng shui.

Below are the best tips that you can do to keep the energy flowing in your home.

1. Spend some time decorating your door. The door holds the key to the good energy in your home. It welcomes the chi in your space.

2. Promote healing by using the color of green. It relieves stress and creates a relaxing environment. Decorate evergreen branches and garland giving extra attention to your entryway. It gets rid of bad energy thus inviting luck and good fortune.

3. Make it nice and simple. Most of us are too eager to decorate our house that we tend to exaggerate. Overdoing things will only burn us out.

4. When the holiday season is making us feel a little bit exhausted, take a deep breath and do some exercise. Take a few minutes off and relax.

5. Do you love giving presents? Spice up your house by adding gifts under your Christmas tree. There's nothing more exciting for the kids than seeing those presents and waiting for the time to open them.

6. Use candles and lamps to make your space look more interesting.

7. To have a good feng shui home during Christmas, use the power of scents. The pine, eucalyptus and cypress will cleanse your space of bad energies while cinnamon can bring calm to you. Putting oranges in the kitchen encourages abundance, joy and money.

8. There's no known plant that is closely associated with Christmas than poinsettias. Hanging them in the four corners of your home will get rid of negativity and putting them in the dining room will bring you lots of good luck.

Always remember that Christmas can be a whole year celebration. Happiness, good health and good relationship are good energies that you need every day for the rest of your life.

How To Feng Shui Your Home Using Aromatherapy Oils

Most people's misconceptions about Feng Shui is they have been taught it is purely putting the toilet seat down and having a chine by the door.  A trivialisation of a serious subject sourced in an ancient book of philosophy called The Book of Changes!

The title itself is so relevant today more than ever before because most of peoples problems is all about dealing or not dealing with change.  Our minds often want to be static but energy flows where attention goes.  And that statement has never been true than of the power and control has in the area of aromas.

The basic tenets of Feng Shui is not just understanding the callibration of change based on a binary system not unlike that in how computers operate but it demonstrates a great understanding of our own lives and nature.

Whilst we live in a world of duality those two significant opposing energies of yin and yang translate into finer energies of the 5 elements of earth, water, metal, wood and fire.

Those who cannot contemplate their life in a philosophical manner will struggle with these concepts.  David Icke himself has offered up the idea that our lives are not solid everything is moving all the time and there are NO solid structures  including ourselves.

Everything is dynamic and so the 5 elements represent energies that we are constantly adapting to daily and provides a great structure to understanding our environment, bodies, nutrition and so much more.

In this topic today I am talking about aromas and how depending upon your mood you have a created blend that will address that mood.  They are in relation of the woods, the passionate and firey oils, the earthing oils like sandalwood, the watery and flowing oils like lavendar and geranium, - so each element has a different groups of oils.  For example most people work in jobs where they are only using their mind - they are living in their head all the time - these people require grounding and earthing so the oils to address that would be sandalwood, benzoin and cedarwood.

Some people have very repressed emotions and show very little of themselves.  To get out of that state and into a firey passionate manner oils of cinnamon, rose, black pepper, can be used.  Those people doing very intense head work or studying for exams or having to keep awake require oils that wake them up so the mind can function.  Oils of the metal variety such as rosemary, basil, sage all wake you up and keep you going for hours-excellent for memory too.

It is possible to create blends that will address whatever state you find yourself in.   I once had a policeman who was so stressed that when he smelled the aromas he instantly felt relaxed from all his woes and pressures.  This is the power of aroma in your environment and according to the 5 elements you can Feng Shui your home to earth, fire, water, metal or wood effects.

How amazing is is this invisible but hugely emotional, physical influence upon your life using the 5 elements to address what effect you require in your home through the power of Aroma.

Why is Aroma and the Power of Essential Oils important to our wellbeing and Environment?  Hard though it may be to believe but it is through a slight aroma that our memories and emotions are stirred into times long gone but nevertheless continues to influence and strike up an old emotion within us.  Think of specific aromas that you associate with grandmothers, or a time growing up whether good, bad or indifferent you can often associate an emotion with an aroma for example it could be lavender, lily of the valley, oranges, parma violets, sweet pea, or more mundane aromas like burnt toast, and so much more.

Good Feng Shui And Your Garden

Create A Nice Garden With Feng Shui

A garden with good feng shui can make a difference in our home. It's not only cozy, but it will also give us an environment where we can release all unwanted energies within us.

These days, gardens are made for the sake of adding decorations in our home. It is made more as a fashion statement. However, a feng shui garden can do more than that. It can bring you not only the energies of good health but also wealth.

Below are the tips on how to make a good feng shui garden.

1. The plant is a very important element in the garden. It brings in a lot of benefits, but it can also stop the flow of good energy. Consider the location and size of your garden as well as the kind of plants that you want to use.

2. Make nature as your example. Triangles, straight lines, and other pointed shapes are a no-no in feng shui. Shape your garden space with curves and create pathways for a free flow of good energy in your space.

Easy Meditation Exercise For A Healthier You

3. A good feng shui garden should have water because it symbolizes wealth. It generates prosperity. The best place to put your garden is near a lake or river. If not, then try to put a fountain or little pond. Make sure that it is not too deep as it can be hard to clean when it accumulates dirt. Add small fishes to maintain the cleanliness of your pond.

Ask a feng shui expert to identify the best place for your garden.

4. Don't forget to add a walkway or pathway in your garden. They represent fake water which means that they have the same function as water. Design your pathway with soft curves.

5. Maximize the energy in your garden by adding wind chimes. Their gentle sound creates healing vibration in the air. Choose wind chimes according to the sound of it. If it makes you feel good, then that should be it.

6. A fence can protect you from the evil spirit, However, be mindful of the height. Make sure that it's not too high. A high fence can cause stagnation and it can affect the ventilation of the place.

Always remember that a good feng shui garden has balance. Bring in the colors of the five elements.
A dull looking garden is bad feng shui while a colorful garden means live energy which brings happiness and healing to your life.

Feng Shui Your Food

Feng Shui Food?  Why not.  When you understand the importance of the 5 elements in this philosophy you realise the qualities, tastes and colours of food all fall into earth, water, fire, metal, and wood.

There is even a time of the year to eat certain foods because of the seasonal nature of fruits, vegetables and seeds.

Above we have the earth of orange, the white cheese is metal, red of tomatoe and black olives is the water. Green cabbage is the wood.  But besides the colours the elements  represents a different organ within the body; kidneys andbladder is water, lungs is metal, stomach is earth, heart is fire, wood is liver and gallbladder.

This is an ancient system that recognises that everything is a cycle-like a geometrical pattern of a snowflake everything is connected and is in some form of cycle.

Certain foods are good in the winter such as eggplant, tempeh, root vegetables the darker they are the better.  For the summer seasons fruits of red like cherries, strawberries and currants are conducive for that period of time.  Everything has a vibration to it and then it resonates with the organs in our bodies.

Ask yourself what you are eating and does it have plenty of freshness and variety of colours.  One of the most harmful substances today found in foods that don't equate to the taste of sweet is the white refined sugar found in pretty much everything.

If we look at its pure colour of white-white in the Feng Shui scheme is a deadly colour reserved for funerals.  I would say people eating excessive amounts of this substance, or poor mans cocaine, is likely to have an early funeral.

White sugar offers no nutrients, taken in doses it affects peoples' behaviour, creates mood swings, lack of concentration and degenerates most of the body's major organs; the pancreas being one of the crucial organs is hugely affected and often resulting in major diseases and death.

It is interesting that the white refined sugar clearly affects the mind and emotions and over a long period of time I would say not only rots the teeth but rots the mind.  As a health professional I have seen countless examples of people's behaviour dramatically changing as a result of the product and its clearly the metal element that turns in on itself and self destroys.  The metal element like all the elements can have a positive and negative experience but anything used to excess like sugar eventually has a metal affect onthe body - corrodes it to a point that functions are totally lost.

So be aware of the 5 elements in your food - what you eat is is who you are and having a balance of the 5 elemental foods exudes eventually from you via personality, body health, behavioural patterns and mindset.

Whether you agree or disagree I am open to listening:  Join me on Instagram-Fengshui4you, Instagram-Cathi Hargaden.  Further ebooks on Health you can find on www.wealthyspaces.com

Feng Shui Home Decorating Part 2

Decorate Your Home With Feng Shui

Feng shui decorating is a great way to bring in good energy to your home. It is fun and easy and it does not need to be expensive.

It's extremely powerful in a sense that if used in a right way, it can uplift your spirit and brings harmony to your home and relationship. However, if it is done poorly, it brings in bad energy which causes depression and conflict.

Here are the additional things to consider when it comes to home decorating using feng shui.

1. Furniture adds character to our home. However, when it comes to decorating our home using feng shui, be mindful of the edges or angles. Sharp objects are poison arrows. Avoid acquiring them or if you already have them, find some remedy like repositioning it.

2. Match your decoration in your room with your purpose. Don't put things in your bedroom that belong in your living room

3. Surround yourself with the things you love. An expensive decoration is useless if it has no value to you while a cheap decoration that is meaningful to you will surely make you happy.

4. Do not overcrowd your space. Create balance. Make sure that your decorative items are proportion to the size of your space. Leave enough space for people to move around.

5. Decorate your home with balance in mind. Make sure that there's balance with the five elements. Do not concentrate on one element alone.

6. For the bedroom of the adults, leave equal space on both sides of the bed.

7. Use plants, drapes or blinds to stop good energy from going out of the window. In feng shui, good energy is being pushed outside of the window every time the door is being opened.

In a nutshell, feng shui home decorating is about any style in any home without disturbing the flow of good energy into your space.

Feng Shui Home Decorating Part 1

Decorate Your Home With Feng Shui

Decorating our home according to feng shui is not a fad. Our home reflects who we are. The look of a certain home will say what kind of occupant it has.

In feng shui, our space attracts energies. We can decorate our place in a way that it will align with our goals. It need not be complicated. Everything depends on the function of the space and how we can maximize the things that we have.

The most important thing when it comes to home decorating using feng shui is getting rid of the bad energies or the old energies. It can be done by clearing the clutter. You get rid of the old and unimportant things to welcome the new energies into your space.

Here are the important things to consider when it comes to home decorating with feng shui.

1. Choose the colors of your space well. Colors add life to our home. It can make us feel better or it can make us exhausted.

2. Place your furniture against a solid wall. It should not be in line with the door but make sure that you have a full view of your entrance.

3. When decorating your home, air and light should not be compromised. Your space should be well-lighted and smells fresh.

4. Identify which feng shui products do you need in your space. You might be needing a fountain or Buddha in a certain part of your home. The main thing is that it should be in line with your purpose.

5. Know the bagua of your home. It will serve as a guide or a layout as to the things that you need to put in your space.

Health Benefits Of Ayurveda

Healing Your Body Through Ayurveda

Ayurveda has helped millions of people gain back their good health. It's one of the world's oldest forms of treating people. It dates back 5,000 years ago.

Ayurveda originated in India. It means "life-knowledge."  This healing practice that comes from the Hindu culture focuses on health and wellness. It harmonizes the mind, body, and spirit.

In Ayurveda, good health and total wellness can be achieved by using yoga, meditation, herbal medicine, massage and a diet that is based on the type of Dosha.

The three dosha's in Ayurveda are the Vata Dosha, Pitta Dosha, and Kapha Dosha. Each of us is believed to have a combination of the three dosha's but there is one dosha that is dominant in our body.

By knowing your type of dosha and following the dosha specific diet, you can alleviate any health problems that you have.

Here are the health benefits that you can get from Ayurveda.

1. It helps reduce stress and anxiety. According to a study, meditation, which is one branch of Ayurveda called Maharishi, lowers symptoms of stress. Yoga, when included in a patient's recovery plan also reduces anxiety and Pranayama which is a targeted breathing exercise, calms the nerves. It improves hormonal function, gives you better energy and a good sleep.

2. It aids in hormonal balance for a healthy pregnancy and a good menstrual flow. It was found out by the Institute of Indigenous Medicine at the University of Colombo in Sri Lanka that using essential oils will help in fighting the bad effects of hormonal imbalance.

3. It minimizes inflammation in the body. Poor diet, inadequate sleep, and poor digestion can cause inflammation. Ayurvedic medicine helps regulate the heart and digestive tract by getting rid of the body's waste.

4. It lowers blood pressure and cholesterol. The Ayurvedic diet and relaxation techniques will help in reducing plaque buildup. It stops the cause and slowly cures atherosclerosis.

5. One health benefit that you can get by using Ayurveda is it improves your health by cleansing your body. By using "Panchakarma", the toxins in the body most especially in the intestines are being removed.

6. It promotes good diet. Ayurvedic medicine is mostly a plant-based diet that is filled with whole food. It includes different kinds of tea, spices, herbs, vegetables, healthy fats, protein and foods high in anti-oxidants.

7. Do you have weight problems? Ayurvedic medicine is all about healthy lifestyle. It's about consuming healthy foods that will give you the optimum health, thus preventing you from gaining weight.

8. Are you beauty conscious? Another health benefit that you get with Ayurveda is gaining a healthy and glowing skin. Natural foods contain vitamins, minerals and tons of antioxidants that will help you glow naturally.

Always remember that diseases start when we abuse our body. By practicing Ayurveda, we restore our body's energy balance. When there's balance in our body, we slowly get rid of every disease that we have and prevent our body from developing diseases.

The Three Types Of Doshas

Get To Know Your Type Of Dosha

Knowing your type of Dosha before using Ayurvedic medicine is important. In Ayurveda, there are three body types or the three doshas.

Doshas are biological energies that can be found in the mind and body.  They are in charge of performing the different physical and mental processes in our body

These are the three types of Doshas:

1. Vata Dosha comes from the elements of Space and Air. It governs all of the movement of our body and mind. It controls blood circulation, our breathing, blinking, and heartbeat. It's considered the leader of the three Ayurvedic Principles. Keeping it in good balance is really important.

2. Pitta Dosha derives from the elements of Fire and Water. It is the energy of digestion and metabolism in our body. It controls our digestion and how we metabolize our sensory perceptions. A Pitta person will display mental and physical characteristics that can be noticed in both balanced and imbalanced state. The balance will result in contentment and intelligence while imbalance can lead to ulcer and anger.
